Hello visitor, my name is JKReybold. I’m a Baltimore-based flat artist working with watercolors and acrylics. I always loved art as a kid. My mom really encouraged any kind of artistic activities. She was an artist herself and did watercolors, life drawings and sumi. In high school art was always my favorite class. Later in college at Boston University, I studied film and then did a year of graduate study there in graphic design.

After college I worked many different jobs…all art and tech-related things involving Mac-based computers. Time passed and I eventually married an amazing woman who encouraged me to build out a studio in our garage. I paint with watercolors and experiment with colored pencils, acrylic and mixed media. I do some digital work as well.

I hope you will revisit from time to time and walk with me as I continue my artistic journey.
